General Manager Korea

Location: Seoul, South Korea 

 

Lead the Next Growth Chapter 

 

Geistlich Pharma is a global leader in regenerative biomaterials for dentistry, oral surgery and orthopedics. To further strengthen our presence in Korea, we are seeking an entrepreneurial and commercially driven General Manager Korea to lead our affiliate in Seoul. 

Reporting to the VP APAC, you will have full responsibility for the Korean business, driving sustainable growth, strengthening our market leadership, and leading the transformation towards a multi-brand and multi-channel business model. 

 

Your Responsibilities 

 

  • Lead the Korean affiliate with full P&L responsibility and deliver sustainable sales and profitability growth 

  • Develop and execute the local business strategy and five-year growth plan 

  • Identify and realize new business opportunities through strategic partnerships and collaborations 

  • Further strengthen Geistlich's market position with customers, Key Opinion Leaders, distributors and government stakeholders 

  • Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing local leadership team 

  • Ensure operational excellence, regulatory compliance and adherence to Geistlich's quality standards 

  • Collaborate closely with Headquarters and contribute to regional and global initiatives 

 

Your Profile 

 

  • University degree, preferably in Life Sciences, Health Sciences or a related field 

  • At least 10 years of leadership experience within the healthcare, dental or medical technology industry 

  • Proven success in general management with full P&L responsibility 

  • Strong commercial mindset with experience in business development, sales and organizational transformation 

  • Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams and lead change 

  • Strong network within the Korean healthcare market and experience working with distributors, key customers and regulatory authorities 

  • Fluent Korean and excellent English communication skills 

  • Willingness to travel
